As a benefit to our clients, we send out Personalized Tax Organizers each January to help our clients gather their tax documents together. Our Clients have found the Organizer (a/k/a Sally’s Gathering Tool) to be quite helpful and the use of it has decreased the amount of Missing Information outstanding from our Clients. This makes Tax Return processing quicker and more efficient. The Enrolled Agents Journal ran a great article last year that included a Tax Appointment Worksheet that succintly describes Events and Document/Information you need to supply your Tax Preparer. Although this Worksheet references Tax Year 2012, most of the information is the same for 2013. Use this along with your Organizer and you will be set for Tax Year 2013 filing!
